Joice bought her first flat that was already used and needed some renovations and adjustments, as well as a good layout solution to make everyday flows more functional. One of the attractions of the property was that it had plenty of space, but the view of the sunset over Lake Guaíba was the deciding factor when buying. The flat had a very old carpet, so the first solution adopted was to change the floor for a vinyl model. The client did not want to change any of the existing furniture or carry out major renovations, so the solution for the new layout was a good distribution of furniture combined with specific paintings in each environment.
In the living room and hall we used shades of pink with emphasis on the half wall in gradient, with colours that allude to the pink in the sunset sky. The same shades of pink were used in the bedroom, this time marking the headboard and part of the other walls. In the office, a yellow/ochre tone was chosen to make the work space different from the rest and leisure spaces.
